Breath was seen as the small red head sprint through the woods, taking in measured breaths, releasing them accordingly, following the path that would lead to the school grounds combat fields. Music pump in her head, keeping her pace quick as she glance behind her, sure to find the Bengal cat that had slipped out of her dorm earlier, but with no luck. Normally he would follow her on her runs, seeing it as a stalk and pounce game, though Conner always put up a chase. Thoughts were abruptly brought back to her present as the white flash of fur darted in front of her, causing the girl to misstep in order to avoid him, though she probably wouldn't have hit him, nonetheless her reaction was there, and just like that, she felt herself going down. Out of instinct she tuck her head, hands just above them as they hit the ground, rolling gracefully off her back and into a crouch position. Devious smirk spread across her lips as she look in the direction the large cat went, only to find him sitting in the middle of the path, eyes slitted as if challenging her.
With that, she push off, back into sprinting down the path, pushing herself, and the Bengal cat tore off ahead, effortlessly keeping well ahead of her. Body start to heat up, feeling the sweat starting to bead at her forehead, but just at the thought of being warm, her body immediately cool off, the already cool air feeling normal on her skin. At a passing tree, branch in her path, she move to avoid it, though her hand trailed on the pine needles, and she slow, only to look behind her, watching as the icicles form and spread a little ways up the branch. She focus at the task in hand yet again, pushing into a spring once more, knowing she would near the grounds soon. She follow the large white striped cat, only ever really seeing a flash of his tail here and there.
The trees started to thin, and she knew she would immerse in the combat fields, and no sooner were they in view. She push herself even harder, forcing her legs and lungs to forget the strain being caused on them. She come to the open fields and immediately slowed, breaths quick and a little choppy as she place her arms over head, walking around just to cool herself out a little. She pull out her head phones and iPod, looking at the time, assuring herself that she wasn't late, but in fact a bit early. She wrap the headphone around the iPod, stuffing it into her hoodie pocket and zipping it up, going back to walking around in, pulling her legs up, knees to her chest ever other step, stretching the back of her thighs out. Who was she practicing with today? She hadn't bothered to look at the schedule not really caring who she was sparring with.
Pale icy pools scan the fields, others beyond practicing, and the urge to join them was immense, but she knew better. She had to stick to her lesson. Bringing her head back, she look around for the large cat, finding him easily, his white fur an odd contrast against the dimly lit trees, the cats equally pale orbs watching her, a content face upon him. "Stay out of sight you rat. Who knows what kind of trouble I'll get in if someone catches you outside of the dorms" she spoke, as if the cat would understand, though maybe the irritated tone was enough. Putting her headphones back in, she start a few warm up moved, keeping her hands high, previous mix martial arts training kicking in, bringing her knees towards her hands, twisting her torso, quick jabs going out in front of her body as it feint sideways as if dodging a hit.
