HAIR COLOR/STYLEHis hair is blonde or more exactly different shades of blonde. Golden locks, really. He has always had his hair short, and when he was younger, his hair had pretty much been naturally straight. Now of days though, his hair has a natural curl to it. Nothing too extreme, just a little bit of curl; more of a wave really.
EYE COLORHis eyes are a glimmering green color, one of his most handsome features. Sometimes, you can see a small hint of blue but it's rare. If anything the green color just darkens.
BODY TYPEAustin is very athletic and makes sure that he's in top shape. His whole body is toned, and really, it wouldn't change too much even if he didn't work out. It would just be a little fat, but not much. He has a high metabolism. Though along with his toned body; he has scars all over his body, one major one being on his lower back. It reaches his side all the way up to the middle of his back. He has scars on his neck, one right under his hear on the right side but most on his neck are small and aren't that noticeable. Let's just say, he has numerous scars. There's too many to count.
FACIAL FEATURESHe's got a rather defined jawline and you can see his adams apple a bit but it's not completely "out there". He's got a long neck and on his forehead, the right side.. super close to his hair, there's a scar.
CLOTHING STYLEHe wears a lot of athletic clothes, like basketball shorts and all that jazz. Though when he's not wearing that and he's going to work, he'll wear slacks and button ups. He can do the whole jeans thing but it's not too common. He doesn't spend too much time on his wardrobe though, it's pretty much like most guys.

ADVANTAGESstrengths, personality only, at least four.
determined - austin is very determined, once he has his heart set on something it's hard to stop going for it.
loyal - he sticks with someone through and through, and it's why he'd never cheat on a girl he was dating.and if you need a loyal friend, it's this guy.
responsible - it's basically what it says. he's responsible and most would put their trust in him. if he has a job to do he'll get it done. sure, he can be irresponsible but only when he knows it wont effect others.
friendly - its what it says, he's a friendly dude and loves meeting new people. he goes to the park just to make conversation with whoever he runs into.
DISADVANTAGESweaknesses, personality only, at least four.
closed up - when he grew up, no one asked about his family and why he was always coming to school with new bruises or scars. even in high school no one asked why he had so many; instead they just accused him of cutting himself. he's never had the option of opening up so it's hard for him to.
jealous - just like his sister, he gets totally jealous. and it's pretty obvious when he is. he's no good at hiding it.
over-protective at times - just as it says, he can get totally over protective and if you mess with someone he cares about; then you're fixing to get into it.
nosy/ curious - he's always asking his sister what happened and what she was doing, it's not that he's strict its that he's a pretty darn nosy person. especially with his own sister. now, he wont judge you but he does want to know.
PERSONALITYHe isn't one to go and party all week long like his sister, he's twenty-seven and feels like his party life is kind of over. He allows his sister to do that even when she's at his house because he knows that all teenagers; or most anyways, need their time to just go crazy. He's also gone through the whole thing about switching from girl to girl; but now he does the exact opposite. He can do one night stands but it doesn't happen very often. See, Austin doesn't quite understand -even though he used to do so- why girls are tossed around left and right; and so easily forgotten about. He likes romancing a girl, he likes charming her, that's how he does things. So as you can tell he's a pretty good guy when it comes to women, but obviously there's more then that.
He's loyal, determined, and responsible. He loves his sister like crazy, and fits that whole over-protective brother thing. It's funny how he acts with her; how he lets her party but yet watches her like a hawk. She claims him to be nosy and she's exactly right. Though he won't judge what she does, he makes sure to know everything she does do. You can call it curious or nosy, he doesn't care but he feels like he should know. Whether it's his sister or one of his friends. He's the kind that likes to stay updated on things like his friends lives.
Now, he can get jealous and he can get mad. In fact, he can get really moody when he doesn't get enough sleep. He's an off and on neat freak meaning one moment, the house is a mess and then he'll spazz out; going straight into cleaning mode. He likes schedule, and keeps to it when it comes to his exercising. He walks his dogs every day; or at least every other day. Like stated, he likes schedule; though he can enjoy a few surprises. He's super easy to get along with and one day hopes to settle down and have a family of his own. But, he has trouble opening up. Not many women that he has started a relationship with have really wanted to take things slow when it comes to him opening up. He doesn't even really truly open up with his sister; which has to say something. But he understands that people may ask questions; especially about his scars. So he jokes about it, when really its a rough and delicate subject.- - - you wonder what the future will bring - - -

HISTORY
Nora and John met while John was on a business trip, a small coffee run in and then later they met when Nora had to interview John himself. The interview went so well, that it lasted two hours later then planned; and later called for a date the next night. It was never really love though; more like a settlement. Nora wasn't one that believed in love and John had been left so many times; his hope had been lost. But they were fond of each other, there was no doubt about it. Of course, John being on a business trip eventually had to go back home. He told Nora she was welcome to visit anytime at all and that he would keep in touch. He did so and it wasn't two months later she moved to his house.
It was never meant to last, it was just a thing. They both just wanted company and they supplied that for each other. Like they had an agreement of some kind. It was funny as to why these two never truly fell in love, as they lived so well together and were almost perfect for each other. Even with John's temper and anger issues; Nora stayed with him. Of course, he never really hurt her. Walls, and material stuff was all. She didn't care, as she had problems too and she didn't want him run away because of them. Nora was like, depressed; and didn't have a care in the world when it came to anything besides John and her job. So when she got pregnant; it was obvious the baby would be unloved. John was a man to believe that marrying the girl who was having your baby; was the right thing to do. So they got married and soon had Austin. He was going to be the oldest of three kids; eventually anyways.
And as the oldest, Austin had it worse then them all. His parents hired him a nanny and never once did his father hold him. His mother did but only because she had to. She never sung to him, never held him when he cried. He was a child; and his own parents didn't want him. As he got older, when the nanny was gone; Austin's dad got abusive. For reasons only Nora and John would know. Austin to this day wonders what was wrong with him, why it was just him; but he's tired of asking questions. Austin had many trips to the hospital and whenever his nanny would come over; she'd try and keep him in the pool house so his parents wouldn't get disturbed. It was sad; that his own mom wouldn't help him when his father was abusing him but the nanny wouldn't even say a word. What was she supposed to do? Though eventually the scars and the bruises were too much for her to handle and she stood up to John only to be fired that day. She never returned and Austin continued to suffer.
It was a month before his eighth birthday that his mother announced she was pregnant; and Austin feared what would happen. He couldn't watch them hurt the baby like they had done to him. Though, he couldn't stop a baby being born and though he would love his soon to be brother; he was wishing it gone. Surprisingly though, when Daniel was born. He never once had to go through his father's abusiveness. Though Austin still did; though thankfully it was taken down to a minimum with only a few physical abuse encounters. More verbal now that Daniel was born. It was obvious his parents loved Daniel more, as they never hired a nanny for him. Nora held him all the time and he slept in their room until he was big enough for his own toddler bed.
Time flew, and when Austin was nine his little sister Evana was born. Sadly, his parents never took to her like they did Daniel. And of course, a nanny was hired for her. Austin stayed with his sister basically all the time. Of course there was school but any time between that he spent watching her. Daniel continued to be close with his parents and never understood why Austin hated them so much.
Away from his house, at school as he got older and entered high school; Austin did wonderful. He was one of the smartest in his class and was overall Mr. popular; but there's a difference between friends and real friends. No friends ever came to his house but maybe three. And though Austin dated many girls, he never found one that really cared. He eventually; in his senior year got tired of dating girls or having flings and never finding a girl that wanted to understand his past. That wanted to know why he had scars everywhere or as to why he never really opened up. He gave up on dating in his senior year after one of his small flings went around saying he cut himself and all of that shiz. It wasn't that he cared what anyone thought; it was that they believed it and the truth was far from the lies. He just didn't want to fool with it anymore; so he went on with having friends, taking both his siblings to go bowling with his friends or taking his little sister to her favorite restaurant. He always kept in touch with her. If there was a bully at her school; he took damn care of it. He was the over-protective brother but in a good way.
So when he graduated and was going off to college; he chose one close to home. Well, an hour. That was all it took to go back home and so he made sure to keep in touch. He'd told his dad, when he was 16 that if he ever touched Evana; ever got abusive...Austin would make him regret it. He wasn't letting any of his siblings go through that. And it helped that Daniel was there to watch over Evana too.
Austin was close to finishing college when Evana got accepted to tour the White House but when he found out, he drove home. Surprisingly, his parents let her go but then again... they didn't really care. So Austin helped her pack and off she went, and he never would've thought his sister's airplane would crash. When they got news, he broke down. Depressed for a long time, he couldn't believe that the one thing he made sure was shielded from the bad in the family...was killed in a plane crash. He never protested her going, knowing he couldn't hold her back. And she died. Or so he thought. Though when Evana returned, informing them of what had happened. Austin hugged her forever. He was so happy, as they sat in the living room. All of them. It was probably the first time that they had all been in there before and as Austin looked at his parents. Hoping, just praying they would allow her back home. Except her no matter if she was a nymph... he saw that they wouldn't. He went cold when they shook their heads no and left the room. Even Daniel, doubted Evana.
Evana was so upset, but deep down they both knew that was going to happen. She hugged her brothers, and told them goodbye. Daniel aka Deck, hugged and left the room while Austin held her there; just hugging her. And as she walked out the door and left, he knew he'd have to follow her. Go to her school, live close by. Something. Anything. She had a family, and if he was the only one who believed her then so be it; but she was going to have him in her life. Whether she like it or not. He asked his parents to let him take care of whatever school funds she needed and then he'd leave her alone. No money supply; silly them, they agreed. Of course, 3 months later after Evana had visited and been cut from the money supply as his parents enforced... Austin moved to Seattle. He gets plenty of money from his job and his parents send him money every now and then. If only they knew he was here. Taking care of his sister. They'd actually care for once.
---
So yes, he knows about demigods and unnaturals, and of course nymphs. He lives in a house in Seattle, and works at The Seattle Times as a journalist. He's pretty happy where he is.- - - as you worry about the sins of your past - - -
