Planes. Aoife normally hated the fucking things. But Sim was right beside her, holding her hand like the good boyfriend that he was. What a cutie. She leaned over and kissed his cheek while he napped, closing her eyes and leaning her head on his shoulder. It had only been a half an hour into the flight, but they had gotten up at 5:30 to be at the airport for 6, catching a flight at 7. Not to mention that Sim was actually kind of a slow packer, and had barely packed anything... Even if they were going to what technically was his home, he still needed bare essentials. It’s not like he’d have toiletries waiting for him. Though he might have. Aoife didn’t know what his father would have gotten for him. But he seemed excited enough. Actually, he seemed a little surprised that she was coming along when Sim had told him over the phone. She was pretty sure she had heard him asking if Sim had a fever or something. It was all extremely funny to watch; especially since Sim’s face had gone a beet red at the fact that it was a little out-of-the-normal for him to be bringing a girl home... Aoife was just glad she was the girl.

Laughing a bit at her thoughts and shaking them from her mind, she opened her eyes to find that she had been sleeping for a good hour and a half. It was funny how thoughts lead to dreams that you had no idea were happening until you woke up. She sighed softly and looked over to Sim, who was still out cold, before kissing his temple.
"I'll be right back..." She mumbled, even though she was pretty sure he couldn’t hear her. Once she had her seatbelt undone, she stood up and went to the washroom, humming loudly to drown out the noises of the airplane. She always had the reoccuring though that the bottom of the plane could rip out at this altitute... Fuck. She turned her body just in time to puke into the sink, groaning. She’d need some more gravol. That was for sure. After she wiped her mouth, she flushed the toilet and rinsed the sink out, washing her face as well. This was disgusting. She needed some serious mellow pills for the flight back. She’d grab some from the pharmacy later on into the trip.

For now, she returned to her seat, flopping down and popping a piece of gum into her mouth, closing her eyes. A few of the people sitting near them were laughing at her, so she turned her face into Sim’s shoulder and tugged her blanket over her face, trying to hide from the world for now. As soon as she was on solid ground again, she would be fine.

Simeon always slept on planes. Frankly, he didn’t like being that high up in the air. Falling asleep helped him ignore the altitude, obviously. He preferred a little shut-eye to feeling nervous the entire bloody time. Plus, he could sleep anywhere. He thought of it as just another part of his charm, of course. He could be handsome even while sleeping. Not everyone could boast that. But not many had the good-looking mug he did, or so he loved to think – and so he loved to think his girlfriend thought as well. The girlfriend he was bringing home today. The one sitting by his side on the plane.

He didn’t feel the kiss when she got up to go to the bathroom. Perhaps in the depths of his dream world, he heard what she said, but he gave no indication. In reality, he wasn’t really as handsome as he thought he was when he slept. His mouth hung slightly open and he was just on the verge of snoring, though he managed to keep his breathing quiet enough somehow not to cross the threshold. The neck pillow he had supported his head surprisingly well, deepening his sleep so much that he didn’t even notice the absence of his girlfriend’s hand when she left for the restroom.

If he knew she felt so ill, he’d feel horrible, of course. He certainly would when he awoke, but he was deep in dreamland.

When she returned, he finally stirred at the motion beside him. A grunt escaped him and he turned his head, blinking his eyes open when his nose buried in her hair and part of her blanket. He lifted his head a little and glanced down at her, reaching over to tug the blanket gently from her face until he could see her eyes. Curiously, he peered into them and reached down with one hand to stroke her cheek gently.

“’Morning,” he said in a voice broken by sleep. A smile twitched over his lips and he leaned over to lay a kiss on her forehead. “Hey, something’s wrong. What is it?”

Carefully, he curled an arm around her shoulder, flipping the armrest between them up at the same time in order to diminish the distance. He knew her well enough to be aware when something was up. He could tell she was uncomfortable; maybe planes freaked her out more than he’d anticipated.

“How long until we land? Don't know how long I've been asleep.”

Blinking a bit, she glanced up at him and tilted her head. Why did he always know when she wasn't quite right? That was the downside of having a best friend for a boyfriend. If she tried to hide something, he always knew. Still, she smiled softly and kissed his cheek.
"Just feeling a little queasy from the plane ride." She nodded and leaned her head back into the neck pillow she had for herself. "We're almost there. We're been flying for 4 hours or so." She nodded, running her fingers through her hair. She was nervous about meeting his dad. They had talked on the phone a few times, most recently to talk about flying Sim-just Sim-up for the summer. Now it seemed she was invited to tag along. It was nerve-wracking. Especially since none of his other female friends had ever come home with him. She hoped his father liked her... That was her biggest worry. What if he didn't? Would Sim dump her?

Biting her lip, and glancing up at her boyfriend, she kissed his jaw gently and closed her eyes.
"Are you still tired? There's another 20 minutes left if you want to finish your power-nap." She smiled gently and tilted her head, watching his expression. He was always interesting to watch. Especially when he was playing video games, or reading something for his work studies. He made these little scrunchy faces-it was adorable how well his face could scrunch up and still look attractive. She also liked to watch him sleep. Not in the creepy Twilight way, but just open her eyes and see him drool on his pillow before going back to sleep kind of way. He was just all-around adorable, but he had those sexy moments where she just needed to tear his clothing off, too.
"We get to sleep in your childhood bed." She grinned.

A sleepy grunt escaped Simeon as he leaned his head somewhat sloppily against Aoife’s, eyes still half-lidded as he attempted to coax himself slowly out of sleep mode. Plane rides always made him tired, so he found it particularly difficult, especially with the reassuring presence of his girlfriend beside him. The smell of her red hair comforted him, even though he needed no comfort, and he nuzzled his nose deeper into it.
He sighed. His brain still felt fuzzy from his nap, as it always did; Aoife knew as well as he did that he had difficulty waking up. Even so, he found the energy to smile when he felt her lips against his skin. He always liked that, no matter what state he was in. He certainly wished she didn’t feel sick, though. Gently, he put his other arm around her, mumbling, “Get some water, maybe, babe?”

Unlike Eefs, Sim knew better than to even imagine that his father wouldn’t like her. Dear old Dad was a fairly easy-going guy, with whom Sim had a wonderful relationship with. And, frankly, what was there not to like about Aoife? She was sweet, charming, beautiful, and polite when the situation called for it – and those weren’t even among her best qualities, in his opinion.
“I’m fine,” he yawned widely, “just gotta wake up a little. I wanna be up and at ‘em when we land. Wish they were still serving drinks. I could get a little coffee.” Another yawn. “Maybe when we land. Can’t wait.”

He couldn’t say he was all that surprised by what she said next. A chuckle escaped him and he reached up with one hand to rub his eyes. Then, with a smirk, he leaned close to her ear and whispered, “We’ll be doing more than just sleeping.” Probably not the time for a dirty joke, he thought, but he punctuated it with a small laugh and kissed her cheek. “We’re going to corrupt the poor thing, aren’t we?”
With that, he flashed her his signature charmer’s grin.

Aoife laughed softly at the way Sim spoke so softly to her, talking so only she could hear. She was glad it was a small plane; only two seats on one side, and three on the other. The closeness was nice for her to handle, and it calmed her stomach to hear him up and talking now. Now the wait until they landed wouldn’t be so bad, and that was her main reason for wanting him to stay awake.
"Mmmm. Corrupt is such an ugly word, love." She pressed her nose to his cheek and nipped at his jaw, before closing her eyes. "I prefer... Well, no, corrupt is good for the things I'm going to do to you." She opened her eyes and pulled back a bit, tilting her head. They had 20 minutes to kill until the seatbelt light would come on. She grabbed his hand and grinned a bit, looking to him.
"Come back in two minutes." She eyed the bathrooms at the back and unbuckled her seatbelt, moving to stand up. It was time to join the mile-high club.

Once she was in the bathroom, she waited patiently, standing around the sink, before putting the toilet seat down and sitting on it. When she heard the knock, she opened the door and dragged Sim inside, shutting and locking the door behind him.
"Today, we'll be joining the mile-high club at 5280 feet." She kissed him and pressed him against the door. "Buckle your seatbelt. It's going to be a bumpy ride..." She slid down slowly, getting to her knees. The rest of the flight was ridden out in quite an absurb manner, and she was pretty sure when they returned to their seats... The flight attendants gave them nasty looks, which means someone must have heard them. But Aoife didn’t really give a shit. This was one for the books that it was Sim’s first time, as well as her own. It was a record.
"Your welcome." She crossed her legs and opened the magazine she brought, reading through an article with a smug look on her face.

Simeon stood in the airplane bathroom in somewhat of a daze as Aoife left before him. For what felt like an hour, although in reality it was only a minute or two, he remained there, motionless, hands at his sides. When he finally did move, it was slowly, and he lifted an arm to wipe his brow with a shuddering sigh. All right. Okay. He was fine! If only he could fight the flush from his cheeks, he could stumble out of this with some of his dignity left. But, then, who gave a shit about dignity after something like that happened to a guy?
He could cross one more thing off his bucket list now, he thought. He couldn’t decide whether or not he was surprised. Of course, he knew Aoife’s behavior could be very… forward (i.e., you know, sexy), but on an airplane? It… caught him off-guard. In a good way, of course. A very good way. A way that made him tingle to the tips of his fingers and toes.

He rolled his neck back and forth as he exited the bathroom, watching as Aoife disappeared into her seat. A smile tugged at his lips and he followed quickly, humming under his breath and ignoring the stares he felt boring into his back as he slid down next to her. His arm quickly found its way around her shoulder and he kissed her gently on the cheek.
“You’re the best, you know that? The very best. Ever.” No, it wasn’t poetic, but Simeon knew it was honest. With a chuckle, he laid his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes as he felt the plane descend closer to the runway until the wheels clunked against it, announcing their arrival in Boston with a good amount of jostling. Simeon grunted, tightening his grip on her and lifting his head.

“We’re here, babe,” he murmured in her ear, as if she didn’t already know. His eyes made it awfully clear how excited he was about it, bright and even happier than usual. After all, as she knew, he and his father had far too good of a relationship to only see each other once a year. Gently, he tugged at her.
“Let’s get our carry-ons, come on. We’re on time, right? I hope we’re on time. Dad doesn’t like late flights.”

Aoife gave Sim a smug smile when he kissed her cheek, reaching up to brush her fingers under his chin. She was good at what she did. She had to be, to keep him around with her. Who needed 500 sluts when he could have one seriously kinky girlfriend who loved him for more than just sex? She grinned a bit at her thoughts and kissed him softly, closing her eyes and exhaling slowly once she had pulled away. She felt the thump of the airplane landing, and laughed a bit when Sim started to rush around, before pulling him back into his seat.
"You're supposed to stay seated until the plane has stopped fully, Sim." She held him in place and looked at her watch. "Besides, we're 30 minutes early, remember? We told him to come later, specifically for that reason." She kissed his cheek. Her boyfriend needed to relax. She was supposed to be the nervous one.

On the inside, her stomach did flip-flops as they neared the gateway. Finally, they were allowed to get up and get their things and exit the plane. Sim was rushing her, and she groaned, holding tightly to his hand as he rushed up the hallway and into the main area, dragging her and their carry-on bags along with him. Once he had gathered their suitcases off the conveyor belt, Aoife finally stopped him and grabbed his wrist tightly.
"Slow. Down. PLEASE." She pouted up at him, stretching her legs a little bit. She was a lot shorter than him, so one of his long-strides equalled 4 quick little steps of her own. She was out of breath from being rushed around. Plus the fact that she had just had sex in an airplane and was still recovering from it a bit, was lingering on the many problems with rushing around. She looked to her watch and took her things from him.
"I'm going to walk at my own pace, now. You can chose to rush ahead or stay with me. Doesn't matter. I'll find you eventually if you go ahead." She started walking towards the doors that lead to the waiting/pick-up area.

Simeon could barely contain himself, although he was sure that fact wouldn’t surprise his girlfriend in the least. As they waited to move out of their seats and into the aisle, he was nearly vibrating on his feet, rocking back and forth and craning his neck in an attempt to see the front of the plane. His eyes flickered happily as the line began to move and they inched forward. Little by little by little…
He knew he was probably grinning like an idiot, but he couldn’t bring himself to care less. Aoife’s eyes were him, he could feel them, but he didn’t mind at all. He looked rather like a kid in a candy shop. He smiled even more widely when he felt her kiss his cheek; he couldn’t wait to introduce her to his father. He hadn’t the first idea why she should be nervous at all about it. Quickly, he kissed her cheek right back before moving out into the aisle to retrieve their carry-ons.

The walk to the baggage claim seemed to take an eternity, even though Sim was doing his absolute best to speed it up. His expression bright, he trotted as quickly as he could through the crowded airport, clutching Aoife’s hand firmly so as not to lose her. Boston was a big place, after all. The thought made him feel instantly protective. More than anything, he simply couldn’t wait to see his father again after an entire year away at school. He supposed he’d gone back for Christmas, but other than that, phone calls and emails were the closest he got.

Frankly, he hadn’t realized just how quickly he’d moved through Boston Logan International Airport. Aoife’s voice made him stop dead and he glanced over his shoulders with a comically blank look on his face.
“…Oh.” Simeon blinked a few times, glancing ahead of them before looking back at her. “Right. Sorry, Eefs.” A slow, pink blush rose to his cheeks and he glanced at his feet, scuffing at the carpet with his toes. A single one of his large strides brought him back to her side and he grabbed her hand in his, squeezing it once before beginning to walk again, this time at a much slower pace.

“I guess I didn’t realize,” he continued with a shrug. “Hey, you’re not still nervous, are you? You know you have nothing to be afraid of, right?” His signature grin tugged at his lips. “Look, Pops is gonna love you. You’ve gotta trust me on this, okay? I’ve only lived with the guy my whole life. Never had a mom.”

Aoife blinked at her boyfriend as he blabbered on about his father, and his previous home life. It was rather adorable how excited he was. Her hand clutched his a little bit more tightly, before she smiled up at him, kissing him softly when they stopped just outside the doors.
"Mmmm. Yeah. I'm a little nervous. but that's normal." She laughed softly and squeezed his hand, looking up at him through her eyelashes. She knew she shouldn't be nervous. After all, she had spoken to his father before, and even had a few video chats with the man... But the prospect of actually meeting the man who Sim made out to be his hero... Yeah, she was a little nervous. Why wouldn't she be? She had her foster parents, but they weren't that close... Especially after the last visit. So she really wanted to hit it off with Sim's father. Besides, she was the very first girl he had brought home for something other than sex; this was a big deal. No wonder he was talking so much. He was probably nervous too.

"Sweetheart, you're talking an awful lot." She drew herself closer to him and kissed his cheek. "You have no reason to be nervous either, you know..." She said quietly, laughing at the feigned confused look on his face. He was such a big fat liar sometimes. Always trying to be so tough... She liked it when he was gentle, too. A sensitive man turned her on to an extent... When it came to bedroom things, she like them rough and callous... Normally. A little sensual love making was nice once in a while... Scented candles, bubble bath, some salts and a loofah brush... Yeah, that was nice too. She bit her lip and shoved the thoughts back, feeling the blush creep up in her cheeks. She couldn't help things like that when she was around him; she just kept getting ideas, and then suddenly it was turned into actions that eventually lead to her place of interest, with their clothes strewn about in various places along the way. Oh well.
"Is that him?" She glanced over Sim's shoulder, staring wide-eyed at the man standing just beyond the security check, blushing more when he raised his arm up to wave at Sim, who had turned around.

The fingers of Simeon’s free hand curled around the hem of his shirt, tugging in his nervousness while he clicked his tongue. Not that he would ever admit he was nervous. He wrote it off as “excitement,” naturally, but the fact of the matter was that he’d never brought a girl home to meet his father. Declan O’Malley couldn’t be happier, or more curious, at least from what Simeon could gather over the phone.
When she spoke, he glanced down at her quizzically. “I’m not,” he responded, although the way his stomach flipped said otherwise. The farther they progressed from the gate, the more his heart pounded. Everything about the Boston airport looked comfortingly familiar to him; he knew he was home, but it was exceedingly odd to be home in the company of a girl. Of Aoife. A hell of a change, certainly, one he still wasn’t sure how to handle some days. Long-term relationships required much different things than his short term flings – much different commitments, much different feelings – and at times he wondered how good he really was at it.

His thoughts were cut short when Aoife piped up again. Immediately, Simeon glanced up, then turned his head to follow her gaze. Declan O’Malley stood there, the laugh lines on his face creasing in a smile when he met his son’s eyes. Sim couldn’t help but grin back. His father was a tall and slim man, his brown hair streaked with salt and pepper. The similarities between him and his son were clear; Declan had clearly been a handsome man in his youth, though that suffered with time. Still, his eyes and face were kindly as ever. Simeon couldn’t stand still any longer. He tugged on Aoife’s hand before letting it go, all but sprinting to his father and embracing him with a laugh.
“There’s my boy,” chuckled Declan. “Missed you, kid. It’s always quiet without you.” The older man took hold of Simeon’s shoulders and studied him at arms’ length for a few moments before glancing at Aoife, still smiling. “Hi there, girly,” he said fondly. “Nice to finally meet you face to face, Aoife.”
“This is my pops, Eefs,” Simeon interjected eagerly, as if that wasn’t already obvious. “Pops, this is Aoife. My girlfriend.”
After a fond look at his son, Declan extended a hand to shake hers. “It’s great to have you, Aoife. Ever been to Boston?”
